The church family at the Mount Vernon Church of Christ has individuals who serve in leadership positions, organizing and overseeing various aspects of the congregation. 

Elders, men whose public, personal, and spiritual lives reveal a committed, Christ-like character, serve as spiritual caregivers for the Mount Vernon Church of Christ family and work to ensure all of the congregation's activities support and advance our goal of experiencing and sharing the life-changing power of Jesus.

Deacons, individuals with lives characterized by Christ-likeness, oversee various, individual areas of responsibility connected to the Mount Vernon Church of Christ family.
